 Where are your products made?

All of our duvets, pillows are made in Montreal, Canada. Our sheets, duvet covers & cases are made in Portugal.

What certifications do our bedding products have?

All of our bedding is Oeko-Tex certified, and our down manufacturer is Responsible Down Standard certified.

What is fill power?

Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. The higher the fill power, the more air a certain weight of the down can trap, and thus the more insulating ability the down will have.

Why doesn’t my duvet cover my whole bed?

The reason is because duvets are originally designed to fit 10” mattresses. These days, mattresses are made thicker, for extra comfort, therefore we designed our queen+ and king+ duvets for those who have thicker mattresses. These oversized duvets will fit perfectly over your bed. To make sure your duvet cover will fit perfectly, we suggest going with European duvet covers, such as Italy, France, or Portugal. Their covers are naturally made larger. Covers made in India or china are usually made smaller. Our duvets are locally made, and suggest pairing with a nice cotton fabric not more than a 400 thread count to give it the breathability it needs. The higher the thread count doesn’t necessarily mean the softer it will be. The higher the thread count means that is it has a tighter weave, therefor will not breathe well. European bedding companies do not usually go higher than a 400 thread count. Indian or Chinese manufacturers captured a market to believe that the higher the thread count the better. We disagree completely!

How should I care for my bedding?

We always suggest spot cleaning or dry cleaning. If necessary you can

machine wash cool on a delicate cycle using mild, liquid laundry detergent. Tumble dry low with Wool Dryer Balls. Remove right after.

How long should my duvet last?

10 years.

How long should my pillows last?

3-5 years.

what is the difference between goose down and duck down?

Goose clusters are larger than duck clusters therefore we use less goose to make the same size duvet as the duck duvets. In Poland, the farmers pride themselves with they offer down to the industry that is from a no kill harvest. The Down is hand harvested from the geese themselves. By collecting the natural fallen down, the birds are able to live a longer more productive life. Their down clusters are formed into the fullest capacity which in turn gives the duvet and pillows a higher quality. The larger the cluster the better the loft and insulation.

Europeans have the highest standards for harvesting, processing and cleansing the down. They don't use any chemicals in the process. They pride themselves on this.

In Poland, they are renowned for production of the finest down! They are generation hand downs since the 1800’s. Today the mills are producing the finest down in the world. Geese in Poland are odorless, grow very large and product the finest down in the world. They are resilient, durable and last much longer!

Is our down hypoallergenic?

Yes. You will not be allergic to any of our down products. It is cleaned enough times in the right way to keep its natural resiliency and also remove any allergens. Our down is cleaned in Germany with top of the line machinery.

Do you offer services for businesses or interior designers?

What’s the difference between feather and down?

Down clusters are round. Feathers include the stem. Which tend to poke you. They do not add warmth they trap the down filaments, therefore they cannot expand to the maximum fullness.  The higher the fill power, the larger the down clusters. If your duvet or pillows are crunchy, they have feathers in it.
